MINUTES
20 JANUARY 2020
Our January meeting was held on the 20th at the Hibachi Sushi Buffet. Following a general discussion of current Air Force issues we had lunch. The formal meeting was called to order at 13:00 by President Larry Louden. The pledge of allegiance to the flag of our country was given and President Louden gave the opening prayer.
The minutes of our 16 December, 2019 were approved as submitted.

We received a late submission for the Teacher of the Year award from Danville School. This was passed around. April is the submission time.
It was discussed about having our next meeting in Hot Springs Village area. It was decided to check into having the March meeting on the third Monday, the 16th at Home Plate Restaurant.
President Louden discussed the proposed Space Force. They should have 13,000 members shortly. There will be a Chief of the Space Force, still under the Air Force. He will be responsible for satellite, GPS and launch operations at this time. Army, Navy and Marine operators in these areas are supposed to come under this command. This force will not yet be a separate service.
No further business to come before the Chapter, after a round of talks the meeting was adjourned at 13:45.
