MEETING MINUTES
August 27, 2026
1. President Reichenbach called the September/October meeting to order at 5:30 PM at the Hook Restaurant. In attendance were Jerry Reichenbach, Bill Kehler, Adrian and Tracey Hummel, Ann Reichenbach, Marleen Eddlemon, and Irving Reed.
2. Ann made a motion to approve the July minutes, seconded by Adrian, the minutes were approved.
3. The current treasurer’s report was presented by Bill and approved. Bill reported we have not received any money from the national office all year.
4. Reports
a. Membership report: Jerry presented the current membership report, which consists of 935 members.
b. Marleen reported she sent a Community Partner membership button to the City of North Little Rock.
5. Old Business: Jerry has not received any response from National about his letter regarding the discrepancies in our chapter membership roster.
6. New Business;
Combat Airlifters: Jerry reported that the last three selectees never returned a call. Marleen made a motion that, due to the lack of cooperation and enthusiasm from the base for our Airlifter of the Month program, we discontinue the program. Seconded by Ann, the motion carried. The Airlifter of the Year program will continue.
7. Bill made a motion that the chapter once again support the Jacksonville Museum of Military History golf tournament, to be held on September 14th this year, by sponsoring a hole, which will cost $200. Seconded by Marleen, the motion carried.
87. Jerry asked Bill to check on our account at the Credit Union.
9. We did not receive any applications for our Timothy Kehler Scholarship this year.
10. The next meeting will be October 8, 2026. Location: TBD.
