MEETING MINUTES
7/9/2026
1. Opening: Call to Order: President Reichenbach called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM at the Hook
Restaurant. In attendance were Jerry Reichenbach, Bill Kehler, Ken Zelmer, Ann Reichenbach, and Irving Reed.
2. Approval of May minutes: With a Motion by Ken, Seconded by Bill, the minutes were approved.
3. The current treasurer’s report was presented by Bill and approved.
4. Reports
a. Membership report: Jerry presented the current membership which consists of the following information taken from the July 1, 2026 A&SFA David D. Terry Chapter roster.

5. Old Business:
A: There was no old business to discuss.
6. New Business;
A: Combat Airlifters: Jerry reported that the last three selectees never returned a call. Public Affairs office will only give squadron phone number. And they reported that they will get in touch with the selectee and pass on the information to call Jerry. The 4 June Combat Airlifters were presented to the board. All were reviewed and Bill’s committee will make the selection.
B: Jerry presented a letter that outlines several errors found in the roster. He gave each member of the listing and requested permission to sent to the A&SFA CEO outlining the errors. A motion was made by Ann, seconded by bill to forward the letter to Mr. Burt Field CEO of the A&SFS. Motion was seconded by Ken and approved.
7: The next meeting will be August 13, 2026. location, TBD.

Also, who initiated and when was this Mission Membership Plan of free membership for Airmen, Guardians,
government civilians, military families, industry innovators, and anyone else with a passion for American
airpower, space power, and national defense and why do they all expire 100 years after entry year brought
before the A&SFA’s membership? If this is a future type of membership category than all members who have
paid for any membership, especially for LIFE membership in the past, should be demanding a full refund.
